Who is responsible?

What data do we collect?

• Through the contact form: first name, last name, type of request, email address and your message.
• Through the book list: first name, last name and email address.
• Technical data, such as your IP address, when you visit the site.
• The data in emails you send us.
• If you accept cookies: how you use the site, such as pages visited, your device, your browser and your approximate location (via Google Analytics).

What do we use it for?

• To answer requests for collabs, press and bookings.
• To keep you posted about the book, if you ask us to.
• To keep the site working safely and properly.
• To see which pages work well and improve the site, only if you accept cookies.

On what legal basis?

For the book list and the contact form, we ask for your consent. For business requests, we rely on our legitimate interest or on steps needed before entering into an agreement.

For Google Analytics, we ask for your consent via the cookie notice. You can withdraw it at any time via "Cookie settings" at the bottom of every page.

How long do we keep your data?

• Requests: up to 2 years after the last contact.
• Book list: until you unsubscribe.
• Statistics via Google Analytics: 14 months.

Who processes your data with us?

We work with a few trusted partners who only process your data on our behalf:

• Netlify: website hosting and form handling, including the book list.
• Google Workspace: email.
• Dropbox: video and photo files.
• Google Analytics (Google Ireland Ltd.): visitor statistics, only if you accept cookies. Google may transfer data to the United States, based on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

The collabs page contains embedded Instagram reels. They only load if you choose "Accept all" in the cookie notice. They then load from Instagram (Meta), which may process data such as your IP address and place cookies. Meta's privacy policy applies. More info in our cookie policy.

We never sell your data to third parties.

Your rights

You have the right to access your data, have it corrected or deleted, restrict its processing, object to it, transfer it, and withdraw your consent at any time. Email us at collab@flourishbymagnolia.com.
